Share Your Pride

1. Share an image that represents the significance of LGBTQIA+ Pride to you (You can choose to be in the image or not).  Some examples include a photo of you at a past Pride Festival, campus event, pride-themed selfie, pride makeup, pride decorations in your home, pride chalking, pride-themed meme, etc.

2. Post the image on social media and tag the UCCS LGBT+ Resource Center in the picture and use the hashtags #CUatPride and #PrideatUCCS

Guidelines for Images:

• Pride is a celebration that recognizes the history of the LGBTQ+ community and our future possibilities.  We encourage everyone who participates to embrace and respect this. 

• We ask that you ensure your pictures are full of fun and yet remain family-friendly as several of us would like to share our Pride with the future generation.

• UCCS does reserve the right not to repost or ask for the removal of any image we are tagged in that is found to be promoting illegal activity and/or inappropriate or offensive activity.

• We love seeing photos from UCCS celebrations, and are often keen to use these in our marketing materials. By posting photos you are acknowledging that they may be used to promote LGBTQIA+ events in the future. Remember that materials posted on social media have the potential to be seen and shared by many more people beyond those associated with the event.
